Building Walt’s Dream – Time Lapse Film Footage of Disneyland’s Construction

If you are a Disneyland fanatic such as myself, then you are going to absolutely love recent film footage that has been released of Disneyland’s construction in 1954-55. This never-before-seen footage was sitting on a shelf all these years and only saved by a curious employee.

Using time-lapse and traditional eye-in-the-sky photography, this is a dazzling piece of history, presenting how the fearless construction crews had Disneyland up and running in just under a year.

Sit back for the next 50 minutes or so and be amazed as Disney Imagineer, Tony Baxter, as well as Ed Hobleman and Walter Magnuson from the studio inventory group provide commentary.
