The Walt Disney Company revealed a new program today on Good Morning America that allows individuals to volunteer one day of service to a participating organization in exchange for one day of free admission to a Disney Park. It’s a first-of-its-kind program Disney is calling “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day.”

Disney has released the official trailer for “A Christmas Carol” which has been done in “performance capture” technique (same as Polar Express). The film will re-tell the Charles Dicken’s classic like you’ve never seen it before with a digital Jim Carrey – as well as all others actors – all moving in digital decors of a Victorian London and in 3-D to boot.

During the recent D23 Expo, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo confirmed rumors regarding the Fantasyland expansion in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Scheduled to be complete by 2013, this would be the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom and would vastly increasing the size of the existing Fantasyland.

During Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo’s presentation on the future of Disney Park’s and resorts at the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim, he confirmed what has been speculated for some time now: a new 3-D version of the tremendously-popular “Star Tours” attraction will debut at the Disneyland Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2011.
