ABC Family To Feature Collection of Pixar Short Films This Holiday Season
If you are like me and love the many short films Pixar has made in conjunction with their full-length animated features, then you’ll want to mark your calendars for Wednesday December 2 at 7pm when ABC Family will air “Walt Disney Pictures Presents Pixar Short Films.” The airing will lead up to ABC Family’s annual 25 Days of Christmas event .
Final Location Announced For Shanghai Disneyland
With Chinese government approval of Disney’s newest theme park in Shanghai, a final location has been selected as well. China’s second Disney theme park will be located in the Chuansha town of Pudong New Area, covering 116 hectares, according to the theme park’s final plans announced on the National Development and Reform Commission website yesterday.
Shanghai Disneyland is expected to open within five years and is expected to cost 3.5 billion US dollars.
Holiday Activities at Disneyland Resort
Disneyland Resort’s holiday season officially kicked off last Friday and runs through January 3, 2010, though some of the attraction overlays and decorations may linger a bit beyond that. Not only are the two parks sporting festive attire and decor for the season, the resort has put together a list of seasonal events that guests can look forward to as well.

Disney Finally Speaks Up About Proposed Theme Park in Shanghai
Every since speculations and rumors have abounded about a proposed second Disney theme park in China, Shanghai to be specific, The Walt Disney Company has been mum as to any validity to the news.
Now in a official press release, Disney reveals that they are indeed planning a Disney theme park for Shanghai.
December Events at the Walt Disney Family Museum
The Walt Disney Family Museum announces its schedule of events for the month of December, highlighting the premiere of Christmas with Walt Disney, a special holiday film showcasing Walt Disney’s Christmases past. Additional events include a concert by the String Circle Quarter and a candlelit Christmas program with the Artists’ Vocal Ensemble.
