Every since Disney Parks first announced the return of “Captain EO,” the 3-D film starring Michael Jackson and directed by Francis Ford Coppola that was shown at Disney theme parks in the 1980s and 1990s, there has been an incredible response from fans with many wondering exactly when the classic attraction would reopen. Well wait no longer as “Captain EO” is scheduled to re-open tomorrow, February 23.
Walt Disney World has announced plans for Summer Nightastic!, a series of events that begin in early June 2010 and run through the summer season. Summer Nightastic! will include the return of the Main Street Electrical Parade, a huge daily firework show at the Magic Kingdom, and a new drop profile and effects for the Tower of Terror.
Attention all you artists – time to darn your artistic skills for a new contest held by Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow. The site is seeking artistic players to create their own Fairy house design. The director of the upcoming movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue ” will choose a winner who will receive a vacation for four to the Walt Disney World Resort.
