Disney Releases 5th Online Community – “World of Cars”
Themed to the Pixar film favorite, Cars, World of Cars is a new Disney online community created for kids and includes games, interactive activities, and more. The online world allows users to “create a car” when they sign up, then interact with Cars characters Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, and others while also interacting with fellow users and players online.

Create, by Disney.com, is an online entertainment portal that offers new ways to interact with Disney character art and graphics. Disney fans are now able to work with Disney art through applications that help create and design art work, comic books, music videos and much more. It’s also a great way to express creativity and communicate with other Disney fans.
Disney Online Honors Pixie Hollow Fairy House Design Contest Winner
In February, Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow invited artists everywhere to create their own Fairy house design in which the director of the upcoming movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue ” would choose a winner.
That winner has been selected and it is none other than 15-year-old Zoe P., from Frazier Park, California. She and her family were honored on April 3 in a special ceremony atHollow Garden in Walt Disney World.
Pixie Hollow Online Announces Fairy House Art Contest
Attention all you artists – time to darn your artistic skills for a new contest held by Disney Fairies Pixie Hollow. The site is seeking artistic players to create their own Fairy house design between now and February 22, 2010.
The director of the upcoming movie “Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue ” will choose a winner who will receive a vacation for four to the Walt Disney World® Resort in Florida. Their creation will also be featured at the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival.

Disney Online is kicking off the “Toontown Online Party Like a Toon Celebration Sweepstakes” which gives players a chance to win a trip to Walt Disney World or Disneyland. Disney Acquires Kid Friendly Creative Suite – Kerpoof
The Walt Disney Company has acquired Kerpoof, a web-based creative design suite for children that launched at 2007’s TechCrunch 40. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but Kerpoof’s online portal at Kerpoof.com will continue to operate as its technology is deployed on Disney’s homepage.
