Disney Parks Marketing Campaign: “Let The Memories Begin”
Disney announces their “Let the Memories Begin” marketing plans for 2010 in which guests will become the stars of a nightly spectacular when photos taken in the park during the day become larger-than-life projections on Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort or “it’s a small world” at Disneyland Resort. Additionally, Disney guests will begin starring on television commercials as part of the new campaign.
Disneyland Paris To Build a Third Theme Park
After signing a fresh 20-year pact with the French government, Euro Disney hopes to build a third theme park on the current property. The new agreement enables the group, in which the Walt Disney Company holds a 40 percent stake, to continue building on the site in Marne-la-Vallée outside of Paris for a further 13 years. The current agreement was supposed to end in 2017 but will now will now extend to 2030.
Will Disney’s River Country Become a Future Resort?
Is a new Disney Vacation Club resort possibly is in the works at Walt Disney World’s River Country property? It is indeed according to theme park industry websites. Screamscape.com has reported spotting Disney engineers going over the site to determine what must done to clear away the remains of Disney World’s former River Country water park and create a new Disney Vacation Club resort.
Queue Video For Star Tours 2.0 Released
During the recent Star Wars Celebration V hosted in Walt Disney World Orlando and specifically the “Last Tour to Endor” – a special farewell to the Star Tours attraction based on the film, Disney and Lucasfilm released a new video that will play in the queue of the attraction at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Park.
Bountiful Valley Farms in Disney’s California Adventure Will Be No More
September 7 is the date that Disney has announced its plans to close the Bountiful Valley Farms area in California Adventure. This to make room for Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, one of the new attractions coming to Cars Land, an all new land based on the Pixar animated film – Cars. The area between the farm and the Pacific Wharf area will become the new entrance into Cars Land.
Mulholland Madness: Meet Goofy’s Sky School
As the continued process of re-themeing and enhancing takes place in Disney’s California Adventure park, Mulholland Madness is next on the list of attractions to receive an update. The family coaster, which has been called “unimaginative” in the past, will get a Goofy’s Sky Skool “refreshing” as part of the $1.1-billion effort to add a heavy dose of Mickey Mouse and friends to the under-performing theme park.

Disney’s “Wonderful World of Color” – It’s Kind of a Big Deal!
Having see a full-length version of Disney’s Wonderful World of Color as captured by a park guest who then so graciously posted the footage on YouTube, I can say that the show is quite impressive. At just under 27 minutes, the attraction uses water, special lighting, fire, video and more to bring a variety of Disney characters to life in stunning color.
