Jasmine’s Flying Carpets Coming To Tokyo Disney Sea in 2011

Tokyo Disney Sea’s 10th anniversary is coming up and along with it a new attractions for the park – Jasmine’s Flying Carpets. This will be the third installment of the ride with the first appearing at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World and the second at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. The ‘carpets” are scheduled to open during the summer of 2011.

Tokyo Disney Resort Continues 25th Anniversary Celebration

Hard to imagine that Tokyo Disney Resort® has been around for 25 years but it has. And to celebrate, the resort is currently commemorating its 25th anniversary with a five-stage, year-long celebration entitled Unlock Your Dreams. Both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea began the fourth stage of celebrations on November 7 and will continue these through the Christmas and New Year season until January 18.

Disneyland Shanghai To Open in 2012

Shanghai could be welcoming their very own Disneyland park as early as 2012. The theme park, with an estimated cost of 40 billion yuan ($5.8 billion), will be located on the east bank of Shanghai’s Huangpu River, bordering Pudong district’s Chuansha town and Nanhui district, an unnamed source close to Shanghai government was quoted as saying.
