State Farm’s CARS 2 Pitties Commercial
State Farm has joined with Disney/Pixar’s Cars 2 movie for a fun commercial that features characters from the film. As part of this partnership the insurance giant is hosting a 30 city tour featuring life-size vehicles from Cars 2 with prizes as well including a new Cadillac SRX.

Shanghai Disneyland: Groundbreaking Occurs April 8th
April 8, 2011 will be the official groundbreaking for Shanghai Disneyland. The event will take place with with government-owned partner Shanghai Shendi Group Co. , Disney CEO Robert Iger and Disney Parks & Resorts Chairman Thomas Staggs. The start of construction marks a milestone in a five-year process involving negotiations with city and central government officials.
Meet Some of the New “Cars 2″ Characters
The Disney/Pixar animated movie “Cars” introduced some iconic characters – Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson, Sally Carrera and of course the lovable Mater. The sequel to the ever popular Cars animated movie will bring back some of our favorites including Lighting McQueen and Mater as they head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix. Following the rave reviews of Destination D: Disneyland ’55, D23 has announced Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th Anniversary, to be held on May 14 and May 15, 2011. The event will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Orlando resort, its history and heritage. The event will take D23 Members on a journey from the moment when the first parcels of land in Central Florida were purchased in 1964 through the opening of EPCOT Center in 1982 and beyond.
