28 Newly Restored Walt Disney Classic Animated Shorts Coming to Disney+

Starting on July 7th, 2023, Disney+ will begin debuting a collection of 28 newly restored Walt Disney Animation Studios classic shorts. These will include iconic stars such as Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Chip n’ Dale, and the studio’s first star, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

‘Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homcoming With David Letterman’ on Disney +

Three of my favorite entertainers – Bono and The Edge of U2 and David Letterman, have teamed up to create a music docu-special which is “part concert movie, part travel adventure plus a whole lot of Bono and The Edge, with Dave’s humor throughout.”

Disneyland Paris Accepting Pounds In Effort To Lure British Travelers

The Disneyland Resort in Paris has launched what it is referring to “sterling packages” in an effort to lure British holidaymakers who have been staying at home due to the weak pound. “We are allowing people to buy in pounds – everything from park passes to hotels and meals vouchers. Then they have everything in place and are largely protected,” said the Euro Disney chief executive, Philippe Gas, in comments to The Daily Telegraph.

It’s official – the Disney Gallery which formerly resided above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (which is now the exclusive Dream Suite) will find a permanent home in the building that currently houses the Main Street Bank and part of the Opera House lobby.

The bank’s 1955 interior, which has been used primarily for Annual Passholder processing over the last 15 years will be torn out, along with at least half of the Opera House’s lobby.

Failing to find a buyer in a recent quest to find a buyer to take over the failing Hard Rock theme park, owners asked a Delaware bankruptcy court Friday for permission to liquidate, signaling once and for all that it will not be able to reopen.

The park, which said it was worth $400 million when it opened in April, was unable to attract any bidders willing to pay at least $35 million for the park at a December 15 auction, according to court documents. This after Hard Rock Park had closed and filed for bankruptcy protection in September.
