Sleeping Beauty Walk-Through To Be Restored?
I’ve pretty much experienced every attraction Disneyland has to offer with the exception of two – Club 33 and the Sleeping Beauty Walk-Through Diorama. While chances are pretty slim I’ll ever get to visit Club 33, not only due to the exorbitant fees to join this exclusive club but the alleged ten plus year waiting period, it looks hopeful that I will get to experience the walk-through in Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland.

Disney announced today an expansion of its media offerings on its Xtreme Digital (XD) online network. In conjunction with its 2008 summer movie broadcast schedule for its ABC television network, the entertainment giant has introduced a staged rollout of full-length movie streams to Web viewers following their original showing on the Wonderful World of Disney on Saturday nights.
Walt Disney Company Commits $1 Million in Humanitarian Aid to China Earthquake Victims
The Walt Disney Company announced today that it will contribute $1 million in humanitarian aid to the victims of the earthquake in China. The donation will be put towards acquiring materials for immediate relief efforts, helping and supporting displaced and distressed children and rebuilding damaged schools.

Yahoo! News reports that in October, Disney will release its first animated classic on Blu-ray Disc, “Sleeping Beauty,” which will offer viewers a full palate of high-tech viewing options. Thanks to BD Live technology, which connects to the Internet, viewers will be able to pop “Sleeping Beauty” into their Blu-ray Disc player and get a variety of interactive features. And just what might those be?

Reuters reports that a man apparently jumped to his death today from the 14th floor of the Disneyland Hotel at the world-famous amusement park in Southern California. “Right now it is certainly looking like a suicide,” Anaheim Police Sgt. Rick Martinez told Reuters. “He was seen leaping off the balcony.”
